On Friday evening a sold out crowd gathered to celebrate the best of the best in business and our volunteer community at Granite Ridge Golf Club held by the Milton Chamber of Commerce.
Many dignitaries were on hand including Milton Mayor Gord Krantz, Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr and Milton MP Lisa Raitt to hear the stories of up and coming new businesses, long time volunteers in our community and long time established companies.
The common thread was giving back to the community. As I travel around visiting elected officials from other areas of the province, I am filled with what I call Milton PRIDE when i hear stories like the ones i heard Friday night.
Congratulations to all the nominees and winners of the awards. The true winners are the residents of the Town of Milton.
