Disappointed that councillors from Oakville & some from Burlington ignored over 10 years of consultations with Milton residents on our vision.
By delaying urban boundary expansion to now 2041 will put Milton at risk financially & moving towards our shared vision.
Many thanks to Mayor Krantz, Councillor Zeeshan Hamid, Councillor Rick Malboeuf for recognizing the importance of Milton becoming a complete community. Im further disappointed that it wasn’t unanimous from our town – when the chips were down Clr Best voted against Miltons vision.
I would also like to thank Kelvin Galbraith Ward 1 Lisa Kearns Paul Sharman Councillor Clark Somerville & Mayor Bonnette in working together to oppose this ignoring the local municipalities vision, and health of our communities.
