A Little About Me

I am a proud husband to my wife, Pat, and a proud father to my two children, Anthony and Miranda. Supporting my community and contributing to its growth has always been at the heart of what I do.

Alongside Halton Hills Councillor Ron Norris, I co-host LOCAL MATTERS on YourTV Halton, where we highlight and discuss the issues most important to north Halton (Milton and Halton Hills). You can check out a recent clip below!

I recently completed my Fundraising Management Certificate at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU, formerly Ryerson) and was part of the development team at Hospice Mississauga leading the construction of Mississauga’s first hospice centre.

For over a decade, I volunteered with the United Way Halton & Hamilton as a board member, campaign fundraising cabinet member, and later in a Resource Development role. This experience strengthened my understanding of organizational dynamics and reinforced my commitment to driving meaningful change in our community.

I was also honoured to serve the Milton public for 12 years as a Town and Regional Councillor for Milton and Halton Region. In that role, I contributed through leadership positions on several committees, including:

  • Milton Economic Development Advisory Committee (MEDAC)
  • Town of Milton Budget Chair
  • Halton Waste Management Site Advisory Committee
  • Golden Horseshoe Food & Farming Alliance

Throughout my three terms, I earned a reputation for principled leadership and was grateful for the respect and trust of both colleagues and constituents.

Beyond public service, my community involvement continues to be a defining part of who I am including:

  • Community Foundation of Halton North – Board of Directors (Current)
  • United Way Milton / United Way Halton & Hamilton (10 years)
  • Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC) Board of Directors (12 yrs)
  • Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation / Miracle on Main (Annual Golf Tournament / Toy Drive / Downtown Festival Milton / Brampton) (16+yrs)
  • Halton Womens Place Organizing Committee Hope in Every Step (Formerly Hope In High Heels) Fundraising Events since 2015

And when I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll probably find me cheering on my teams — proudly wearing the black and gold of the Hamilton Ticats, the red and gold of the San Francisco 49ers, and staying up late on west coast time during hockey season to root for the Vancouver Canucks.
