  1. Impressive report on the MEV progress and the satellite campus policy framework. Sounds like Andrew Stiltata has an excellent strategy for engaging the Province and making a good case for Milton and Laurier. Great job Andrew!

    Wondering

Watched the council meeeting last night on Cogeco and I wasnt impressed to say the least. Some of the councillors who were around the table when they approved the new library, effectivly closing Bruce Street, stood up and wanted it to stay open. Councillor Lunau was the most hypocrytical as NOW shes worried about development charges based on service? She didnt think of that when she voted for the new library.

And at the end of the meeting with Councillor Dilorenzo wanting to adjourn the meeting before a vote can be taken on the transit notice of motion from Councillor Malboeuf is just plain silly. He might have got a laugh out of the crowd but that was just unnecessary and shows a lack of maturity for the job.

I saw Councillor Nelson banging his head on the table…I was wanting to do the same. Grow up and realize youre professionals representing this town.

  3. Wondering,

Thanks for the comments. The meeting was long and nerves were getting frayed but thats no excuse for anyone and their actions. We stay until the work gets done no matter if we agree or disagree with whats being discussed.
