Earlier today I along with other members of Milton Council broke ground on what I like to call a great news story and the start of construction on the Sherwood Community Centre on Main St in between Scott and Savoline Blvd.
This location will have a number of amenities including 2 hockey rinks, pool, library branch as well as community rooms available for seniors. It will go a long way to servicing the many people on the wes side of Milton as well as provide for more hockey, swimming and use of our library.
