A native of Brampton, Ontario, Mike Cluett moved to Milton in 2003 where he now lives with his wife Pat, son Anthony and daughter Miranda.
They were drawn to Milton as many others were. Milton is a wonderful community with a warm hospitable atmosphere, quality downtown core and a wonderful vision for the future.
Mike Cluett was appointed to Milton’s 150th Anniversary Committee in 2006. This committee was set up to promote Milton’s landmark achievement of 150 years. There were many accomplishments from this master committee including the establishment of Milton’s Walk of Fame & the beginning of Milton’s Downtown Street Festival which continues to grow in attendance every year.
Mike is also a member of the Milton Community Policing Committee who’s purpose is to help promote a healthy and safe community and to provide residents and businesses an avenue to communicate their concerns. Mike has also been active in his neighbourhood by working with community residents on safety issues such as residential speeding, parking and stop signs and has sat on the the school council for Hawthorne Village PS.
Mike now currently sits on the Administration & Planning Standing committee, and also serves as the Milton Town Council representative for the Community Services Advisory Committee (CSAC), The Milton Community Policing Committee (MCPC) and on the board of Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC).
